During this time of quarantine there is only so much cooking that one can do, here are some of my favorite places that are offering takeout/pick-up in the area of Chapel Hill. Let me know in the comments if there are any of your favorites offering it too!
Kitchen Chapel Hill
Kitchen is one of my favorite restaurants in Chapel Hill, I love it so much that I actually worked there for a few weeks when I was home from school last Christmas. They are releasing their menu on Tuesdays, then accepting phone in orders on Wednesday and Thursday, then you pick up your meal on Saturday. Unfortunately, only one day a week but definitely worth supporting the business and I can’t wait to go back when this is over!
Guglhupf Bake Shop
Guglhupf is offering pick-up on all of their usual goodies in their bake shop located in Eastgate. This includes fresh bread, pastries and coffees. If you go you must get a cream puff! Just don’t go on Monday’s because they are closed.
Chick-fil-A
If you’re looking for a bit of grease and comfort look no further than Chick-fil-A. I’m only slightly embarrassed to admit that I went twice last week. Nothing beats a spicy chicken sandwich in my opinion. The new location at Carraway Village has opened (off of Eubanks) and they have a brilliant drive-thru set up!
Purple Bowl
If you’re looking for a healthy pick-me-up look no further than Purple Bowl. They have the best smoothie bowls in town as well as other healthy snacks. You can call ahead or order through the app and pickup curbside!
