The Shambles Sausage and Pie Company, situated on York’s most famous street, The Shambles, is home to some of the best sausage rolls and pies in the city. They offer hand made sausages, made from locally sourced pork, bacon that they cure themselves, freshly baked pork pies, which if you’re an early bird you can get fresh out of the oven as well as much more! They have recently become active on Instagram, sharing what they have on offer and sharing anecdotes from the master baker, Andrew Mcleod. They have now started offering free local delivery and you can place orders over the phone, check out their site here and make sure to check them out, I cannot recommend the pork pies enough, or their steak and ale pie. It is definitely dangerous that they are only a minute away!
