Namu in Durham describes itself as, “where Korean heritage, food truck ingenuity, and the local community meet. With delicious fare, cold brews, and deep roots.” While in a bizarre location this allows them to have a huge and inviting outside space made up of different sections that even include a water feature and outdoor heaters. Their inside space includes a beer hall boasting over 40 brews, including many which are local, as well as a selection of speciality coffee. They have some delicious eats and drinks and it’s a perfect place to eat outside and feel comfortable during the pandemic. If you need some inspiration on what to eat check out their Instagram. This most recent visit we got the Kimchi Bul-Fries, Galbi, and the Korean Fried Chicken fries, my only qualm was that the KFC fries were too dry, even though the chicken was delicious it lacked a sauce that tied the two together, however, the other two dishes were delicious! This is definitely a place to go with a couple of friends so you can try a variety of dishes!
