Style Diaries: May

Casual Look:

I’ve had these  Levi’s jeans for a couple of years but they say in my closet untouched for a long time because I never tended to reach for them. After trying them back on a few weeks ago I’ve been loving them! I don’t often wear ripped jeans but I love these and their loose fit. They work great with these  Commes Des Garçons Converse for an 80’s look.  My t-shirt is from Uniqlo, where I get almost all of my go-to t-shirts from. Uniqlo often has some awesome collaborations go and have ongoing Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat. Almost all of the t-shirts are priced at $14.90 and they usually have offers on, such as buy 2 get 1 free. I’m sure most of you will recognize the LA Dodgers hat which is a great throw on for an athleisure look.

Business Casual:

I love this look, these trousers are probably my favorite clothing item, we call them the Shiv trousers, aptly named after Shiv Roy from Succession. The trousers are 100% wool but loose enough to be comfortable and airy. That being said these shoes are a close contender for my favorite item, they are definitely my favorite show at the moment. I love the sophisticated look that these trousers give, and I often wear it with different styles of black jumpers. I like to add the gold jewelry to match the Gucci belt and tie the whole look together. The jumper is actually from Primark and I love the design and shape, it has frills at the shoulder which you can’t really see in this photo but add a fun aspect to it. I will probably invest in a higher-end jumper in the same style. This Gucci belt, in particular, is spectacular and so versatile because it is reversible to it has brown on one side and black on the other, meaning it will go with all outfits, it is more expensive than the usual belt but looks so great with the textured leather and is really two belts in one.

Summer Casual:

This is a great throw-on summer outfit. First, I love this skirt, or rather this skort, from Lilly Pulitzer, I wear it so much more than I thought I would, where it’s white it goes with almost everything! This top, from Banana Republic, is great and slightly thicker, so it can be worn most seasons, it has capped sleeves which I love because I have very broad shoulders. Ths shoes, Gucci of course, are a staple in my closet and very summery and fun.

Fall Casual:

This is a new jumper I bought this past week by Rebecca Taylor, paired with my favorite bootcut jeans and Dolce Vita leopard print boots. The bag is Maison Heritage which I managed to find in TK Maxx of all places. I love how autumnal this outfit is and have already repeated it.
