I discovered Utica Bakery when reading through the ‘Chapel Hill Carrboro Foodies‘ Facebook Group where someone recommended this bakery. This Facebook group is a must join for anyone interested in discovering new restaurants in the Triangle Area. This group is especially great at the moment for finding out which restaurants are offering different services, like delivery or take-out, during this time. Utica is a European Bakeshop that is currently operating out of a food truck located in Apex where they plan to open a permanent bakery. You can walk up to the bakery and order or call ahead or message them to preorder goods, as they bake everything fresh, some of your favorites may sell out so do this to avoid disappointment! My personal favorite that I tried were the cannolis, they had a perfect crunch to the pastry while not being too thick and a really tasty fresh cream, you have to try this if you go, I can’t wait to go back next week and try all those things I haven’t tried yet!
