In these unprecedented times it is more important than ever to stay connected. I am fortunate enough to be home with my parents with whom I have a great relationship, however, not everyone is fortunate enough to be in the same situation. It is important to reach out to friends and loved ones to check in with them. Today I had a friend message me, who I haven’t spoken to in a few weeks, but I was deeply touched that they reached out and realized how easy it is to make other people feel the same. Anyone would be grateful for a little pick me up message and it can really change someones day. I am also lucky enough to have access to a car and drive-thru restaurants, so I met a friend and we ate in out separate cars and talked through our windows, it sounds strange but this interaction was really a highlight of the week and provided a much needed change in routine. If you are able to do things like this I definitely recommend doing so and don’t forget to send that text!
